Finding a Good Movie

Ok, this week we are talking about Finding Nemo.  I feel like I don't really need to explainer this one, but just in case anyone hasn't seen this for some reason or another I'll give a quick run down.

The movie is about Marline, a single father clown fish, who is searching the entire ocean for his son, Nemo who was fish-napped by an Australian diver/dentist.

Marlin meets Dory, a forgetful but lovable fish whose personality is brought to life by comedian Ellen DeGegeneres.

Dory and Marlin meet all sorts of strange characters on the search to find Nemo including three vegetarian sharks, a swarm of mouthy sliver fish, some mellow turtles and a whale!

All the while Nemo is trying to help the inhabitants of the dentists fish tank escape to the harbor!

The question is: will Dory and Marlin find Nemo?

You'll just have to watch it to find out!

Now the reason I bring up Finding Nemo is because I have seen it quit a few times in the past weeks.  Let me just say that Nemo never really gets old.

I saw it in theatres when it first came out for my birthday party.  Ever since then I have loved it.  The characters are relatable and the whole concept is heartwarming.  A father stopping at nothing to find his son.

So if for any reason you haven't seen this a movie, give it a try because it defiantly has the Rose seal of approval!!

Tell me what you thought of the movie!

WDRW #19

Hello fellow movie fanatics :)

I have some exciting news , I got a job!  that's right, I got a job that will last a total of six weeks, thirty days.  Monday through Friday, eight to five!

So I will be busy for a while not to mention the school I attend starts back up only a few weeks after I finish work.  So good luck to me!

Now on to the subject at hand, movies I, Rose, have watched.

  • 10 Years
  • Legend of the Guardians
  • Ransom
  • Kiki's Delivery Serious
  • Jurassic Park (X3)
  • Meatballs
  • Hoot
  • Up
  • Finding Nemo
  • The Patriot
  • Fast and Furious 6
  • The Fast and the furious
  • Session Nine
Now if you are a returning follower you may have noticed that the amount of kid's movies I have been viewing has dramatically increased.  That is due to my nephews and the fact that I help my mom watch them.  I don't mind watching kids movies but when it comes to watching the same one over and over ... and over again it gets pretty old.

Did you guys see any new movies?  Any really good ones?

As always, watch on!

P.S. stay tuned I will be posting a review shortly due to me being gone for so long!

WDRW #18

You know it's summer when the WDRWs start getting really long!

A movie marathon at my friends house coupled with a handful of rainy days makes for a long list of movies, eh?

  • Saving Private Ryan
  • Stand by Me
  • Robots (four times)
  • Big Fish
  • Lilo and Stich
  • In Time
  • Zombieland
  • Rise of the Guardians (two times)
  • Under the Tuscan Sun
  • Open Season
  • Happy Feet
  • The Happening
  • Jurassic Park (two times)
  • Epic
  • Warm Bodies (two times)
  • Mama
:) You might be wondering why on Earth I would have watched Robots four times.  Well my nephew Thorne loves that movie! He always wants to watch a 'boy movie' and we don't have too big of a collection of what he considers boy movies. Ha-ha :)

I hope you guys had a good week!  Watch any good movies?

Watch on!!

I'm Reed Fish

While watching one of my favorite movies, The Sasquatch Gang, I saw a preview for a movie that looked like it had a chance to be really good!

From the preview I could see that this guy, Reed, was the small town radio broadcaster for Mud Meadows.  He followed in his dads footsteps by taking the job, he took his dads catch phrase, and about everything else.  The people of the town needed his dad, so that's who Reed became.

A few weeks away from his wedding to a girl whose name I have forgotten (she is played by the same girl who plays Rory from Gilmore Girls) when all of a sudden Reed's high school crush shows up back in town.

Reed kisses her and ba-da bing ba-da boom Gilmore Girl is MAD at him (understandable).

The movie goes on with Reed trying to figure out what to do and who he wants to be.  The town needs his dad but who does Reed want to be?

Give this movie a shot, it's a little slow at parts and I was a little disappointed with the ending but only because I had been expecting something completely different to happen.

Tell me what you think!

And as always, watch  on!
